About the event
This camp is designed for ages 8-15. We will cover all aspects of horse care to include nutrition, safe feeding practices, anatomy, tack anatomy and care, grooming, hoof care, common illnesses and more. In addition to the horse aspect, our farm offers short hikes, creek wading, goats, and chickens. We will include games and crafts to make learning fun. We will have two days of riding per camper per week weather permitting.
Campers will need:
Packed Lunch
Water
Boots
ASTM approved riding helmet
Long pants (they can bring shorts to change into later)
Cost $400 per week
Non-refundable deposit $100 to reserve your spot.
